The Doll Movie Song Reaches #2 on iTunes Comedy

The Barbie movie garnered over 1.4 billion dollars in theaters but ignited the ire of many due to its feminist themes, including conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, who wrote a lengthy screed and produced a 43-minute video criticizing the film. I decided to take advantage of all the buzz surrounding the movie by penning a critique of my own (which many failed to realize was a joke) and producing a music video, both of which may or may not have been directly inspired by Ben Shapiro’s very rational and normal reaction to the movie.

To my surprise and excitement, the song quickly climbed to the #2 spot in the iTunes comedy charts. It stayed in the top 10 for a while before I had to change the genre classification from Comedy to Pop, because apparently Spotify is having issues separating stand-up comedy from music and spoken-word or something.

Anyway, enjoy my also very rational and normal Barbie song.
